The only way to be in love I think. Every new person you meet is different and you can't keep comparing them to your last boyfriend/girlfriend. Enjoy the relationship you are in, instead of wasting time being scared that they will hurt you just like your ex did.

Today

I finished at 3pm and had an offer of a kiss further up the road. So up I went and sat and had a nice chat with this beautiful man before he had to go back to work. I was so excited on my way there that I went into the back of a Rolls Royce. I nearly ended up in the back seat of her convertible. And then I went and got the saddle for my bike that had finally arrived.

I did all this while being dressed like a nine year old in this top....:)

Just arrived home now and I'm going to have some dinner and watch a Swedish tv show - solsidan.

Yesterday

Yesterday morning I got the train from Malmö to Copenhagens airport to pick up a gorgeous tall dark Italian man:) I was just about to say that it is so great to have him here with me, but I then realised that I have been up for nearly three hours now and he is still asleep (hence all the blog posts I am throwing out there like there's no tomorrow)

All jokes aside it was lovely to see him, we got on the bus and a few years later we arrived in Halmstad.

Off we went to my sisters house and a beautiful little girl that was very excited to see the Italian ( it was after all nearly two years ago since he saw my niece)

Even though they can't communicate - yet, they quickly became friends and he was thrown into building towers and helping all the animals getting to the farm etc.

In the evening we went out for dinner with my parents.

They haven't seen him since they came to London last May so they were also happy that he finally arrived.

I am now going to see if it is possible to wake him up so we can start this rainy Halmstad day.

Friday night.

The restaurant date might have been cancelled, but with an Italian chef in the house we did alright anyway. Burrata with sunblushed tomatoes and baby aubergine. Yum! And then we decided to go to the cinema after all. Limitless - a very cool and interesting film. And now we are watching on more episode of criminal minds before going to bed.

Speaking of friendship. Another baby has been born into our little gang. Beautiful P and R had a baby girl yesterday.

Love

I think it's healthy for a relationship to spend some time apart.

All the excitement that I feel in my body today is also mixed in with the feeling you get in your stomach when you fall in love with someone for the first time.

I know the Italian and I don't see each other very often even when we are both in London, but being in another country and leaving it 48 hours between each kiss, still made me miss him and appreciate what we've got.

Maybe it was also the fact that I spent my time with two couples. Not that it was disturbing in any way but it still made me feel like he was missing.

In two weeks we're doing it again as I am off to Sweden for a week and a bit. He's joining me there for the last weekend and I can't wait. I haven't been able to bring him with me to Sweden for nearly two years.
