It's offical

That I am in love with The Italians place, so I went back for the third time in a week last night with N.

Once again we had a fantastic meal, and some nice drinks in the bar afterwards.

Tuesday - day off

I was supposed to go and see a friend in Walthamstow today and go sunbathing in some park there with a lake and it was going to be lovely.

Only to wake up to rain (!!) this morning. So plans changed and I maintained my dating life with Jack Bauer and the sofa:)

The cleaner came at 2pm and forced me out of the flat (well not really but I don't like to be here when she is here, I feel too guilty), so I went for a lovely walk down by the thames, and listened to some Kings of Leon and hoping and keeping all my fingers crossed for tickets for tomorrow - it obviously worked;)

Kings of Leon

is coming to town, well actually they are already here, but tomorrow they are having a concert in Hyde Park. I only found out about this a few weeks ago.

Obviously it was then too late to even think about buying tickets, they sold out after an hour.

So I started to plant a seed around London to see if there was any way little me could get a ticket. And a few minutes ago I got a phone call saying that luck was on my side. I am SOOOOOOOOO  excited.

I can't believe it.

Italian, Sunshine and outside dining

Yesterday when I finished work, The Italian came to meet me and we went and did some sale shopping (even though everything I bought was in fact not on sale...) and then we went to a place calld Allan's across the road from Selfridges and sat outside with a salad and a sandwich. 

Since he has been working all week and I haven't seen him at all it was lovely to spend some time together.

 

Yesterday

Wasn't all just about the iphone 4. When I got home and I had installed everything I went for a nice 1/2 hour massage. There is a beauty school around the corner from us, and they don't really get too booked up in advance and the prices are very reasonable. I am going to try to do it once a week from now on. The work I do means I really need it.

After that I got ready for dinner with A & A and we went back to The Italians restaurant and had another amazing meal:)

I am officially going to move in there I think:)

Dinner last night

Two little girls decided to order the only two dishes on the menu that were for two people. I don't eat meat so I couldn't help her with her Rib Eye and she doesn't really like fish so she didn't want any of my Halibut....

I managed quite well with mine and almost finished all of it, I was being precautious and only had a tomato salad as a started so pleanty of room for maincourse. J on the other hand had a massive starter (beef carpaccio) and then all this meat on her own, felt it was a bit much. We were warned that it was for two people, but I just thought yeah, yeah they just don't know us and that we eat like horses...:)

The food was absolutely delicous though and I am so proud of the Italian and what they've done with the menu and the restaurant. I am going back on Thursday with A & A. Can't wait.

Now I'm on the sofa watching series 4 of 24....

Need to get ready for work soon, I start at 3pm.

Cinema, Dinner and Cocktails

Last night was spent in town, starting off with cinema and then we went off to Randall & Aubin for some fish and chips.

After that we met up with S and her boyfriend D at the bar in Soho Hotel for some drinks.

Didn't get home too late, it was probably only about 0.15-0.30, but when the alarm went off at 5.30am this morning it felt like I had no sleep at all.

This afternoon was spent on the sofa with some crappy hang over food and lots of chocolate, I slept through most of Sherlock Holmes but I am off tomorrow so I will watch it then.

Tomorrow night is spent in The Italian's new restaurant for the opening night with my lovely frined J.

Tuesday - day off

Watching 24. Saw the first season a couple of years ago, and now a friend of mine has lent me the whole box set of all seasons so I am glued to the sofa....

Just finishing season 2 now.

It was a great night, I used to cry every Saturday night when she was singing at x factor because she has the most amazing voice. So I kept asking N last night before every song if I was allowed to cry. He said no every time.

I'm sorry, but you can't first feed me a bottle and a half of wine and then take me into a room and listen to Leona Lewis singing live and then I'm not allowed to cry..??

Last year I did exactly the same with Joe from x factor. I cried every Saturday when he sang, he had such an amazing voice. So when I noticed that Joe was sitting in front of me last night I nearly started crying just for the sake of it:)

I managed to hold it together though and we had a great night.

My last day in Sweden

I know I haven't been around for almost a week, but with work and spending some time with the Italian since he didn't come with me to Sweden I didn't really find time for the blog.

But here are some pictures from last Tuesday, my last day in Sweden.

Sunday night BBQ

Sunday night as I said was spent at my sisters house having a lovely, lovely evenng.

It was a nice enough night so we could stay outside all afternoon/evening.

Starting off with pushing my lovely niece on the swings

And then chilling out for a bit before dinner.

The rest of the day was spent at my sisters house having a barbeque, more about that later

Saturday in lovely Sweden

The beginning of the day with T and P was spent here, soaking up some sun and catching up on lots of gossip...

And then I picked up my sister and we went in to town to get something to eat before the film

Then we saw the film that we have been waiting two years to see...

It was great, great, great.

I even bought a bag of sweets and I forgot to eat it, I mean that would never in a million years happen with me. I have full control of where exactly my sweets are at all times, and I am never able to keep any of them for later.

 

After the film we fancied a drink (alcohol-free since I was driving) so we ended up in Robert's coffee even though I have promised myself to never go back there after the horrible service I've had there everytime.

It's such a gorgeous cafe in  a great location, I just wish they'd sort out their food and staff and I could live there everytime I come here.

Another amazing day had in Sweden, now I'm off to bed. Early start tomorrow having breakfast with the girls.

Plans for today

First of all I am going to meet up with P and T for a bit. And then I will get ready and go and meet my sister this afternoon and spend some quality time together, and finally we are going to see THE FILM....

And I am very, very excited:)

Having the best time

Me and gorgeous A spent the afternoon here yesterday sunbathing. And then later on D came to join us as well which was lovely.

About 3pm I went so see my lovely sister and my amazingly gorgeous niece, who had made me this beautiful bracelet and I love it.)

When I got home, mum and I watched a film and ate some sweets. (well actually I was only one that ate some)

As usual when I get home, my favourite sweets are here waiting for me:)

This morning mum and I got up early and went back to the pool that I went to yesterday to go for a nice morning swim only to find out that they don't open until 10am on a Saturday. So we just had to turn around and come back home again:(
