I advice all Londoners to join dailycandy.com, well actually not just Londoners, they also do 11 cities in the states as well.
If you subscribe you get a couple of emails a day about various things happening in your city, like new restaurants opening s a m p l e   s a l e s , and many other things.
The other day for example I got this email:

Throwing a Fitness

2011 Health and Wellness Guide

Eat, drink and be merry. In hindsight maybe that wasn’t the best advice to follow for two weeks straight. Read on for suggestions on how to relax, restore and rejuvenate.

Get Moving
Forgo the gym (always crowded in January) for a CoolBoard, which works your core, improves strength and flexibility and gets you in shape for snowboarding. Or opt for adult classes with retired Royal Ballet company dancer Isabel McMeekan and live out your childhood dreams (tutu optional). Not for you? Play it safe and build stamina with an aerobics-infused ju-jitsu self-defence class.

Stretch It Out
Yoga in the great outdoors might not be possible this time of year, but you can still feel at one with nature on a Yoga Pure photo mat. Or practice anywhere, anytime, sans mat, thanks to Yoga-Paws — padding for your hands and feet. Now you’ve got no excuse.

Just Eat It

Can’t handle a juice diet? Sample Urban Detox’s new raw food menu instead. The low-calorie, botanical meals — made from soaking, sprouting and dehydrating raw and living organic plant foods — will get your digestive system back on track in three to five days. Or have the holistic foodies at Ganesh Munchies fill your fridge with nutritious eats twice a week.

Keep Calm and Carry On

Start the year with a naturopathic consultation: the quick and easy scan produces a 3-D model of your entire body to determine any problems. Follow up with ionization therapy, which rejuvenates and alkalises the body with negative ions. On the go? Try T Spheres aromatherapy massage balls to perk you up, calm you down or generally lift your spirits.

All’s well that mends well.

A very useful guide straight after Christmas when 90% of the population is looking for a good detox or diet they can throw themselves into.
Not me though however, because I know that with my working hours I just don't have the time to stick to a diet, it takes a lot of hard work if you ask me. I do however eat more healthily at this time of year and go to the gym as often as I can (which was once last week, but I am pretending that was an extremely intense week and the rest won't be like that...)
