The Italian was waiting for me in a champagne bar next to work
We had time for a couple of glasses each
Before heading off to Royal Horseguards hotel where we met up with B and V and B's parents who had an amazing room booked there
We started off with some more champagne in the room
Before going downstairs for some dinner
The view over London was absolutely gorgeous
And we were right at the prime spot where all the people that came to watch the fire works were gathered, which meant that the Radio 1 DJ was there to get everybody going so we were dancing and singing along to the songs on the balcony
Let the countdown begin
The Italian is getting ready with the champagne

And then BAM!
The most amazing fire work display comes on
I have never seen the fire works in London before so I have nothing to compare to, but everyone says that this is one of the best they've ever had and it's not hard to believe. I have never seen anything like this.
A fantastic evening with lots of laughs, lots of food, lots of champagne and great company.
We couldn't have had a better spot for the fireworks.
